We strive to become a nationally recognized dual-mission program of artistic and academic excellence. Our scholar artists will be inspired to pursue their passions and lead with empathy and perseverance. Through collaboration, cultural engagement, and interdisciplinary learning, our graduates will be empowered to shape the future.

Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts is a dual-mission high school that empowers culturally and socioeconomically diverse students from across Los Angeles through a rigorous arts and college preparatory education. We cultivate excellence in an inclusive environment, fostering students’ creativity, critical thinking, and leadership skills. In partnership with the rich cultural landscape of Los Angeles, we prepare students to thrive as active community members, engaged scholars, and practicing artists

Attendance Incentives!

All Grand Arts Students & Staff who have 96% Perfect Attendance through October 5th will be entered into our attendance raffles.

First, FOUR Students and ONE Staff member will each win tickets for themselves and A GUEST to Cynthia Erivo’s “Let Me Sing To You” Concert on October 15th. Second, The Homerooms with 96% through October 5th will be entered into our Homeroom attendance raffle. The winning Homeroom will receive a Grand Arts Swag Bag for the Homeroom Teacher and EACH student!

Winners will be announced during Homeroom on October 7th.
