Please assist us with our parent election process for the Local School Leadership Council (LSLC) by voting for the following members. Since our governing council has five open spots for parents, I am asking that you select 5 candidates. All votes need be cast by Thursday, October 8, 2026. LSLC is a shared decision-making body in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) that lets parents, teachers, and staff plan local school policies. Your vote in this process matters.
What the LSLC Does
The council makes choices in five main areas:
- Staff Development: Plans professional growth and training for teachers.
- Student Discipline: Sets behavior codes and support guidelines.
- Schedules: Decides the calendar of school events, activities, and bell times.
- Equipment: Creates rules for using school gear like copy machines.
