SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF YOU JOIN PTSA?
  • Joining PTSA gives us strength in numbers. The more members we have, the stronger our voice!
  • Grand Arts' PTSA is a unit of the California State PTSA and the National PTSA, which advocate for and publicly recommend and support issues that involve the safety and welfare of children and families.
 
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Become a member: Students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to join!
Join a committee and volunteer your time.
 
Give a donation! Make your tax-deductible contribution by check made out to Grand Arts PTSA. Our mailing address is:

When you make a donation to PTSA, your donations goes towards various programs at Grand Arts such as the following:

Arts academies support for general expenses: performance rights, costumes, shoes, music, art supplies, guest choreographers, field trips and much more.
 
Our PTSA also supports: Grad Nite expenses for Senior students in financial need, teacher and staff appreciation events, school spirit events, school volunteers, and much more.

PTSA Mission
 
The mission of PTSA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families. Our goals are to promote, build, and expand family engagement; empower and support PTA members and leaders; and represent, inform, and mobilize members and the public to advocate for the education, health, safety and well-being of all children.
 
Becoming a PTSA member includes membership to the California State PTA and National PTA. Membership to the California State PTA includes member perks:
 
Importantly, the California State PTA offers scholarships to graduating seniors, continuing education scholarships to volunteers and staff (teachers, nurses and counselors) members. For more information, go to http://capta.org/programs-events/scholarships/continuing-education/
 
The Los Angeles Tenth District PTSA offers music scholarships to middle and high school students.  For more information, go to tenthdistricptsa.org.

Misión de PTSA
 
La misión de PTSA es impactar positivamente las vidas de todos los niños y familias.
